All women equal in asylum

On this International Women’s Rights Day, GAMS Belgium also wishes to express its support and invites you to sign the European feminist petition by the collaborative alliance of activist collectives and associations, Feminist Asylum. This petition advocates for the effective recognition of asylum grounds specifically for women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ persons.

Today and every day, we fight together to improve the living conditions of all women, regardless of their origin or sexual orientation, and show solidarity with initiatives pursuing these goals.

On the Feminist Asylum website, you will find an extensive list of associations and collectives supporting this effort, whose work is essential in the field of women’s rights and asylum. From symbol to symbol, you have until May 11, the anniversary of the Istanbul Convention, to support their action.
