- 949 girls registered to be protected from FGM
- 2,198 women and girls who underwent FGM received psychosocial support
AN ALARMING SITUATION IN BELGIUM
- 23,000 girls and women who have undergone FGM live in Belgium.
- 12,000 girls are at risk between the ages of 0 and 18 if no preventive work is done, especially during trips to their countries of origin during the holidays.
