Excision: What challenges for affected women in Belgium?
In the context of the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (each year on February 6th), GAMS Belgium organized a webinar on February 4th 2021, to shed light on the experiences of affected women and address legal, medical and sexological aspects.

Objectives
Through video testimonials, GAMS Belgium addressed current challenges for women and girls affected by female genital mutilation (FGM), including:
- What international protection is available in Belgium for families fleeing FGM for their daughters?
- What access to quality healthcare?
- What rights to sexual health?
