On June 27, we invite you to celebrate an important milestone: 30 years of commitment by GAMS Belgium alongside girls and women affected by female genital mutilation. These 30 years represent collective struggles, challenges overcome, significant progress in care and prevention, as well as a renewed vision for the years ahead. This day will be an opportunity to look back on the journey so far, share our new strategic plan, and above all, look to the future together.
Programme:
- 9:00–9:30 am: Welcome and breakfast
• 9:30 am–12:00 pm: Panel discussions with a retrospective, our evolution, and the new strategic plan for the coming years
• 12:00–2:00 pm: Lunch break – food stands
• 2:00–5:30 pm: Workshops (screenings, debates, fishbowl discussions, artistic workshops)
• 6:00–10:00 pm: Musical evening
