Since 2018, Yasmin Hussein has been working at GAMS Belgium as an interpreter (French, English, Arabic and Somali). She ensures a better understanding between our target audience and  various professionals from the psycho-medical, social and legal sectors.

After Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey and the United Kingdom she eventually ended up in Belgium. It opened up the world to her and aroused her curiosity about various languages and cultures.

Yasmin joined GAMS Belgium because she was scarred by the injustice of gender-based violence. Her empathy, willingness to listen, friendliness and her language skills enable her to build bridges and set benchmarks.
