Hortense joins the team in Liege as a psychologist. She is of Rwandan origin and mother of three girls, so she describes her home as a matriarchal mini-society.
Throughout her clinical practice, Hortense specialised in the treatment of families and couples with relational or emotional difficulties. Thanks to several internships, she was also able to specialise accompanying people suffering due to migration or cultural identity.
Her greatest wish has always been to be part of an association that fights, in a concrete way, sexual and gender based violence. Working with GAMS Belgium was therefor an obvious choice.
